The new Pula.EDU programme, replacing PulaPROfessional, will focus on a current topic from the audiovisual industry each festival year. Bringing together excellent students and their projects at the Festival, Pula.EDU is the central place of exchanging ideas and capacities of young audiovisual professionals. Pula.EDU 2018 is developed as a partnership programme with the Academy of Dramatic Art of the University of Zagreb.

The three-day workshop aims to introduce participants, students from regional academies (Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina), with the new post-broadcast media environment (web, streaming, VOD), focus on production and postproduction characteristics, and develop projects in this field during the workshop itself. Students working on projects in this field will apply for the workshop, and the academies will select one project each to be developed at Pula.EDU (with 3 students from each of the academies). Along with 3 lecturers/mentors from the regional academies, the workshop will also have a guest lecturer, a prominent expert in the new media market.

The programme will be held from 19 to 21 July 2018.
