Andrej Košak (Ljubljana, 1965) is a director and screenwriter whose debut film Outsider broke the domestic box office record and remains the third most watched Slovenian feature fiction film of all time, and has won several international awards.  His second film Headnoise premiered in 2002, also receiving several awards. Both films were Slovenian entries for the Oscars. His third feature State of Shock (2011) had large audience numbers, and was developed through Equinoxe Workshops.
