SHORTLY AT PORTARATA
In the last couple of years the Festival has made a huge step forward in terms of communicating with citizens. Apart from the absolute “hit” – the information desk at Giardini – a LED display screen was placed on the busiest city location, Portarata. This has contributed greatly to the atmosphere in which Pula lives film. In each moment it can be perceived, seen, and felt that Pula is imbued with film. A series of promotional materials in the morning and in the afternoon (National and Popular Programme films’ trailers, statements by Croatian directors and actors, a collage of scenes from previous festivals, daily festival stories, etc.) inform citizens about the programmes and encourage them to participate and consume the Festival.
The evening programme remains rich and colourful. It will present a series of specialized, feature, documentary and animated films tackling different themes, from environmental issues, to music and extreme sports.
