Long and warm summer is perfect for experimenting and revealing the secrets of creating animated films. It has already become a tradition for renowned Professor Balthazar to lead an adventure laboratory as part of the Pula Film Festival, where kids aged between 7 and 12 can experiment with film. This year’s two-week workshop invites both new as well as experienced participants to join in on another unforgettable animated film adventure.
Timeframe: July 15 – 26, 2013 (break on July 20 and 21)
Number of participants: 40 (4 x 10)
Age of participants: 7-12 years
Participation fee: HRK 400.00, for two children from the same family HRK 700.00
Screening of films: Saturday, July 27, 2013, Arena
Gift to the participants: free admission to all screenings in the Arena
On the workshop:
The theoretical part of the laboratory comprises familiarization with the basics of film and film art, whereas the practical one covers all the phases of film creation, from idea and screenplay development and finding movie props, to the very shooting and editing sessions.
Topic of the workshop: “Lino travels around Europe”
Wishing to familiarize our children with different countries of the European Union, Lino the bear, a recognizable Podravka brand, explores four European countries selected by the participants.

The number of adventurers is limited to ten. The seats will be filled in the order of sending applications. If the number of attendees reaches its limit before the mentioned application deadline, additional applications will not be taken into consideration.

Tomislav Fiket: director of a large number of videos and documentaries, known to a younger audience for the TV series Jura Hura, editor-in-chief of the only Croatian channel on video games Playomania.
