Belgrade, December 31, 1933. A gruesome murder is triggered by a series of exciting and mysterious events resulting in conflict between local powerbrokers, national leaders, secret societies and foreign intelligence services. From the Jatagan mala mud marshes to the splendor of the White Palace, an emerging conspiracy will call into question the future of the whole country and its ruler. Dragan Bjelogrlić (Opovo, 1963) graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. As a 15-year-old he debuted in the film Boško Buha (1978); and has been in almost 40 films, around 20 TV series and dramas, and 11 plays. In early 1994, he founded the production company Cobra Film. In the last 20 years, he has focused on production, and the first film he produced was Pretty Village, Pretty Flames. He worked on his artistic ambitions as a director as well, directing the feature film and TV series Montevideo, Taste of a Dream, which has brought him a lot of success. The film was selected as the Serbian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards.
