Mitja Ličen (Ptuj, 1980)is a director of photography, who has received several national and international awards for his work(History of Love, The Tree, Let Him Be a Basketball Player, Who’s Afraid of the Big Black Wolf, We’ve Never Been to Venice, etc). As a screenwriter, he co-wrote the film The Tree, while the short filmParadise is his directorial debut.

Sonja Prosenc (Slovenj Gradec, 1977) graduated in journalism and culture and later attended Berlinale, Sarajevo Talent Campus, and Torino Film Lab. Her feature debut The Tree premiered at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2014.
