Round Table – Film Festivals
Tuesday, July 22, 2014, 16:00, Circolo (open for public from 17:30)

The fact that there are some fifty film festivals financed by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre and/or the Ministry of Culture successful at finding their audience in a country of only four and a half million people is truly significant. It provides some insight into the national cultural policy but also into specific local tendencies. However, it does not reveal anything about how well the festivals communicate and collaborate between each other and how well they complement each other. This topic will be tackled at a round table discussion on film festivals featuring Croatian and regional film festivals representatives. Rajko Grlić will lead the discussion.
