Sanela Omanović, the director of the music programme of the 60th Pula Film Festival, announced the programme: “It is made up of bands and performers that intertwine different music genres and that could not be categorized as pertaining to one single expression. This will be a combination of ska, punk, pop, swing jazz, country, soul, rockabilly and many more different rhythmic combinations. Concerts will take place on three locations, in front of the Arena, at the Festival’s Centre and on the Forum, and they will be free of charge.” The following bands and performers will perform at this year’s Festival: Elvis Jackson, City of Pula Wind Orchestra, Svadbas, Damir Kukuruzović, Kawasaki 3p, My Buddy Moose, B and the Bops, Zoran Predin, DJ Funkmaster, 208th Day of the year, Dogma, and The Chweger

However, on Saturday, July 27, at 10:15a.m., Pulica will not close with a war story about a bomber Bosko, but rather with the one about ambitious and overly green monsters from the film Monsters University.

Apart from films and good music, the Pula Film Festival opened a call for volunteers and members of the Young Cinephiles Jury. Apart from gaining valuable experience in film festival organization, volunteers will have an opportunity to watch films for free in their spare time, a possibility to meets new people and this will be a good reference for their future career. The new sponsor of the Pula Film Festival was presented – Zagrebačka banka. Valter Šarić, the director of Zagrebačka banka’s Istria regional centre, reminded that the bank had been sponsoring cultural events in Pula for many years and he expressed his satisfaction with the fact that Zaba is part of the entertainment programme in the Festival’s centre this year.
