10TH BRING YOUR OWN FILM!
With the today’s opening of the 10th Bring Your Own Film! programme starts the online vote for the best amateur film part of this sidebar programme of the 60th Pula Film Festival (July 13 – 27, 2013). The audience can cast its vote until July 21, whereas the films will be available even after the mentioned date at MAXzona. Watch the films and cast your votes!
The best film according to the jury will be announced at the Awards Ceremony of the 60th Pula Film Festival in the Arena. The jury deciding on the best film comprises: editor-in-chief of the web portal Ravno do dna Zoran Stajčić, film critic and journalist of the daily newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija Jakov Kosanović, as well as multimedia artist and director Matija Debeljuh. Hrvatski Telekom, the long-term partner of the festival, provides valuable awards for the winners.
The author of the best film according to the jury will receive Sony Xperia Z + MAXtv To Go valid for a year. The winner of the best film award according to the audience will get Samsung Galaxy S3 mini + MAXtv To Go valid for a year.
The prize for best film according to the jury will be handed in at the Awards Ceremony in the Arena on July 27, 2013. The winner and their escort will get free accommodation in Pula from July 25 – 28. The winner of the best film award according to the audience will also be announced at the Awards Ceremony in the Arena and the prize will be delivered by a courier service.
We are happy that this year we have received a lot of applications for the programme. We have a large number of debutants and those who have been faithful to this competition and come back every year, even after winning a first prize. This competition is dedicated to one-minute films so spare a minute and enjoy short amateur films.
