Short Pula - Short Documentary Films

The department store Istra, located in Pula's city centre, was once the city's meeting point, but now the building is avoided and abandoned along with the echoes of distant and more recent memories that still live there. Five floors. More than eight thousand square meters. It opened in 1978, and although it managed to survive the economic crisis of 2008, it failed to meet its 40th birthday.

Matej Đuzel (Pula, 1987) has worked on all types of film and TV while working on Student TV as editor and director of the show Alter Ego. He currently teaches cinematography and editing to students of journalism, and works as executive producer of commission films for the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb. He also has his own production company, Adria Visio.
