Jure Pavlović (Split, 1985) graduated in film and TV directing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. His short films have been screened at more than two hundred festivals, including the ones in Berlin and Clermont-Ferrand, and have received numerous awards (Grand Prix at the Days of Croatian Film, Ljubljana Film Festival, Rhode Island Film Festival, and awards at Vilnius, Chicago, Tangier, Drama, etc.). His short film Picnic has won the prestigious European Film Academy Award (EFA) for Best Short Film.
