DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT: Love is the basic chemical flow of this film, the flow that carries an intimate drama and development of characters and where social occurrences of a time period and a space clash. Told from a female perspective, the story explores the nature and the boundaries of love: to what extent is love conditioned by our traumas, to what extent is it immune to ideology, how much freedom does it involve, does it accept authorities (god)? I would like to take the viewer on the journey through taboo territories. I am aware that the film may be seen as political due to its subject-matter but my intention is that it be perceived as an emotional and metaphysical piece of work.
