The traditional Professor Balthazar’s Adventure Laboratory is a film workshop, which, for the 13th time this summer, will open its doors to a new generation of young animated film fans. We welcome all youngsters aged 7 to 12 who are looking for new things, experimenting, and exciting film ventures. With expert guidance from graphic designer and illustrator Petra Zlonoga and artist Nina Šestanović, the children will be introduced to the techniques of making and producing animated film in a one-week programme. All of the segments of this process are elaborated: developing a story, developing the script, creating characters and their personalities, the basics of animation, and production and post-production. The workshop will be held at the Rin Tin Tin Pula kindergarten (Uspon Svetog Stjepana 1) from 10 to 18 July 2019(excluding Saturday 14 July and Sunday 15 July). The attendance fee is 400 HRK, and 300 HRK for each additional child from the same family.
RED Workshop for Digital Natives invites young cinephiles and latest technology aficionados into a world of everything they only could have seen on a TV or a big screen to be a part of this creative and exciting event and make their own film. The workshop will be held from 11 to 18 July 2019 at the Pula Public Library, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is targeted at youth aged 13 to 16. Workshop leader Judita Gamulin will work with the participants to provide them with a first hand introduction into both the practical and the educational part of the world of film, and give special lectures organised in cooperation with leading film professionals. The attendance fee is 500 HRK, and 400 HRK for each additional child from the same family.
Applications for both workshops are open until 27 June 2019 or until all places are filled.
